Unlike e-business processes, for the school administration, the demand of technology is not for commercial considerations, but sharing of resources and information. Under these requirements, Cyberhood maintained to allow as many as there are online visitors. It improved the system performance, and thus created unique phenomena on campus. A Cyberhood account can also be used in multiple devices. The system has maintained high stability, and become a major factor into the decision on a comprehensive university technology-driven solution.

Case Info

Vanung Technology University has committed to a comprehensive e-learning resources in recent years. Information Computing Center is the main sector responsible for planning and integration. Director Zhuang, after serious assessment on what is neededs, chose Cyberhood collaboration system .

Now all is communicating through Cyberhood UI. It not only moved the shcool to eCampus, also prevented virus attacks via eMail and damaged the bandwidth.

Becoming the leader in management of teaching resources and knowledge

Director Zhuang mentioned, "It is important to keep and accumulate teaching resources for school. Every time an employee leaves, gain or loss will be decided by successful transfer of the work." Integration of administrative database and teaching resources is the most valuable experience a school can have.

Therefore, to promote adaptation in the school, the ICC creates a shared area in WebHD. It is a folder where every department manage, update, and save their assets and then share. It also designs and provides training cources for WebHD and Workflow. They are great helpers for pulishing and sharing knowledge and economy on campus.

Website communications 2 in 1

The computing center integrates websites to and from VU. The school faculty can sign in to their own account with Cyberhood collaborative systems to manage their workload. They can even further communicate with anyone through Bullentins and Calendars that publish directly on the school website.

Basic distributed structure

Cyberhood Server for Campus，a custom solution for schools, set up 4 servers for VU on distributed structure platform. The system optimizes the paths for communications and data collecting.
